"Things I’ve Always Wanted to Say, but couldn’t " is a zine I created for my mother as a birthday gift. My mom has always been my pillar of support, and as a designer, it only felt fitting to share the words I’ve kept hidden—words I never dared to say out loud—through the medium I communicate best in—design.

We’ve never been the kind to openly share our worries; after all, we were two women who were raised to be strong and independent. This zine captures everything about our relationship, not just as mother and daughter, but also as two women. It holds everything that’s been left unsaid—apologies, gratitude, and love. From "I’m sorry" to "Thank you" and finally, "I love you.", this project holds a piece of my heart.
